Fire crews battling COD Fire in Siskiyou County | News [Video]

SISKIYOU COUNTY, Calif. – CAL FIRE is responding to a 28-acre wildland fire near COD Drive in Hornbrook. 

CAL FIRE says the fire is 20% contained, and they have named the fire the COD Fire. 

Zone Sis-3315 has been downgraded to an evacuation warning, the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office 

If you have been displaced because of the fire, the Siskiyou County Office of Emergency Services says that there has been an evacuation center established. 

The center is at the Kahtishraam Wellness Center in Yreka at 1403 Kahtishraam.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
