Guardian Riders to host ride for 2-year-old in need of transplant [Video]

BRISTOL, Tenn. (WJHL) – A local motorcycle club that’s part of a much larger national organization, the Guardian Riders, is committed to helping those who cannot help themselves.

The group’s mission is to help and protect others, especially sick or abused children.

On June 8, the group will host a ride for a 2-year-old who needs a heart transplant. The meet-up for the journey will be at Boone Mall. The address is 1180 Blowing Rock Road and registration begins at 10 a.m. with kickstands up at 11:30 a.m.

It costs $20 to ride and $10 for passengers with every cent raised supporting the family of the toddler in need of the transplant. The group also plans to hold a blood drive in the Tri-Cities along with rides in Bristol, Wise County and the Saltville area.
