To highlight Nevada Health Link open enrollment, the Governor’s Office issued a proclamation Wednesday morning naming November 1 Nevada Health Coverage Day.
From now until January 15, Nevadans can enroll through Nevada Health Link, the state’s online health insurance marketplace, and check to see if they qualify for state subsidies to lower monthly premiums.
“Families whose income is too high to qualify them for Medicaid may still qualify for substantial cost savings through Nevada Health Link,” said Nevada Health Link Executive Director Russell Cook.
He later added, “A significant amount of enrollees pay $100 or less for their family’s net premium. … We also have a significant number of consumers who are enrolled in fully subsidized plans with zero-dollar net premium.”
He said that families can find free enrollment assistance through the Nevada Health Link website here: https://www.nevadahealthlink.com/.
